Our vision and mission

As a Christian dating app, we believe that marriage is a sacred covenant between man and woman, ordained by God as part of His divine plan for each of us. Meaning, there's more to it than just love and romance.

Rebecca and Eliezer at the well.

Abraham's servant didn't sit and wait. He actively searched for a wife for Isaac. However, he remained listening to God's voice. This is how he found Rebecca at the well.

God says in Genesis 2:18: "It isn't good for man to be alone; I will make a companion for him, a helper suited to his needs." God himself brings people together according to his timetable. Sometimes it feels like his plans are limiting us, and sometimes it's not easy to wait for God's timing. However, who other than our Creator knows best how we can flourish and fully achieve our purpose? The Bible teaches us that God wants the best for us: "For I know the plans I have for you — declares the LORD. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Through Jesus, we may even call him 'Abba Father'.

Equally yoked

The apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 6:14: "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers." We believe that this warning also applies to marriage, and that it's better for Christians not to marry non-believers. However, many Christians can't find their soul mate in church, and many singles are simply too busy to maintain an active social life. This is why we want to help unmarried Christians to meet other Christian singles — for a serious relationship, but also for fellowship and spiritual growth.

Relationships are precious

Jesus spoke about marriage in Mark 10:9: "Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." It shows how much God values marriage. Sadly, it also shows our brokenness, when we review the divorce rate, even among Christians. Therefore, we believe every relationship is worth fighting for. This is why you can only join cMatch if you're truly single — it means you can't join if you're 'almost divorced' or separated.

Pray and work

Many Christians are hesitant to write a personals ad, since they want to wait for God's guidance. We get it. After all, choosing your spouse is a choice for life. However, one does not rule out the other. The monks used to say "ora et labora" — pray and work. We strongly believe dating sites are being used by God to bring Christian singles together. So, relax and start chatting and e-mailing on (trustworthy) Christian dating sites. But never cease to pray about it.

Every single who's a committed Christian, may join cMatch.

Our mission is to prayerfully match Christian singles according to God's universal plan. Our vision is to serve Christians from all churches and denominations. Every single who's a committed Christian, may join cMatch. Students and seniors, Catholics and Pentecostals. We're united in Jesus Christ. We don't judge based on your past, how involved you are in church. It's about being saved by grace.
