GOD HEALS YOUR HIDDEN WOUNDS
“God heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” Psalm 147:3 (NCV)
Your deepest needs can only be met through Jesus Christ — from His constant presence to His purpose for your life to His preparation for a place for you in Heaven. Be renewed by God's promises to give you hope and a future!
You may feel hopeless because you think God has forgotten you, but He has always been and will always be with you. God wants to heal your hurts, habits, and hang-ups — your hidden wounds. Despite your hidden wounds, God wants you to experience His best for your future. Since you move toward what you are focused on, learn how to refocus on Christ and let go of your past so you can choose to be happy. You can't have the peace of God until you first make peace with God.
God is ready to pour out His blessings upon you, but first you have to decide: Who will be first in your life? This is a critical decision for you to make as you walk with Jesus. Ask yourself, "Will I depend on myself or will I depend on God today?"
When we trust anyone or anything other than Jesus Christ to be our Savior, we are in danger of failing a test. Will you accept that God is in control, that He knows what's best for you, and that His plans for you are good? Will you trust God with your disappointments?
A joy-filled person has more creativity, energy, and productivity. But first, you must learn to forgive the past, trust God for the future, and understand God's purpose for your life. “Give yourselves completely to God — every part of you — to be tools in the hand of God to be used for His good purpose” (Romans 6:13).
