Dear Child of our Creator

    The evening waits the morning
In the first day of our creation.

I need not know your face to long for it.
My hands are waiting, my heart is open,
There is a place, my bone and my flesh,
For you in me: always one flesh to be.

In times that are tasteless and weary,
    Times of waiting and drought:
With patience to labor with one arm,
    We must prepare in sobriety.

Against doubt, against anger, let us climb higher,
To find with joy in each other,
The strength we have been given.

How long until we begin our long road?
I am on my feet, I am ready to leave.
May there be, when we see and reach each other,
A conjunction of heavenly bodies on the earth.

Let time and every other vail
    Be lowered from between us:
When I touch you and hold you to me
I feel the light of God reflected.

The spirit of love as the Breath of our Creator
Moves in our blood like a river of wings.

Dear child of a soon to come day, I pray
That as I look into the future for you,
You will look into the past to me
And hear this song that I sing.

This is a lovely poem. The young lady is privileged. God will bring you your lady as you wait and trust on Him. Listen to this song by Maurette Brown Clark - The one He kept for me...

    Thank you for your encouragement!
Sorry I did not post before, I only saw your reply today. I learned that Cmatch does not send you notifications of replies on the forum. I am glad I checked!

God has many daughters, and I love them all as sisters in Christ, but it takes wisdom to know who among them I am best able to serve as their husband. I am not flawless, and may make mistakes, and marry someone who would be better married to someone else. But whether or not this happens I will love my wife deeply. That is my choice, and my responsibility before God.
You love your parents because they are your parents, whether or not they made the best choice in marrying each other. It is the same with your wife.
And clearly part of loving your wife is giving due consideration to whether you should be the one to marry her or not, before you marry her.
I pray God for wisdom, and to find my dear child of God soon.

I have it difficult, because I believe it is right to marry more than one wife, if you are able to, and can provide for them well. Even if I am not able to marry more than one wife myself I am committed to doing what I can to relieve such families from the oppression they suffer.
So many are bigoted on this point that it is very difficult for me to find any others who believe it is not wrong.

Thank you again for your encouragement! I pray that God blesses your marriage, as you trust in his blessing!
    God be with you!

As I read your comment , i can sum up that you are genuine and kind hearted person. But I don\t agree that you have to marry more than one considering you can afford to do so. if you are a Christian you only can have one wife unless ciecumstances allowed you legally.

My Brother, you really is a generous man no matter what and i salute you for that.

    God Bless!

Thank you for your kind words!

Yes, if the government of your country oppresses multiple wives it would take a lot of bravery and committment with all concerned. I respect those who would take a stand against oppression in this way. Did you know the origin of Valentine's day was a pastor named Valentine, who was put to death because he secretly performed marriages in a time when marriage was illegal?

Thank you again for your encouragement! God be with you.

Wow tsahraf, all I can say is your very young and your mind can change in a few years, one wife has enough challenges in itself, and you would not expect the love of your life to have to share you, that would not be fair, but we can definitely can agree to disagree, I just feel in 10 years from now, you can have a totally different outlook, you are very talented and smart, and I know God will use it for his kingdom purposes,  may God bless you with divine connections and surround you with a band of brothers to uplift, teach, and encouage you in your walk, blessings!
